President Ilves to depart for a working visit to Poland

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves will today fly for a working visit to Poland where he is to meet with Bronisław Komorowski, the Polish Head of State. He will also give a presentation at a conference of Polish ambassadors at which he will provide an overview of the Baltic insight into Central and Western Europe.

Presidents Ilves and Komorowski will unveil a memorial plaque at Sulejowek – at a museum of the former Polish Head of State and Commander of Army, Marshal Józef Piłsudski – to the pre-war Commander of the Estonian Defence Forces, Johan Laidoner.

The Estonian Head of State will return to Tallinn on 24 July.
