President Ilves awaits children’s drawings on “All the Good Things in Estonia”

18.12.2013

The President, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, is inviting us at this year's end to focus with our children on all that is good around us and to take part in the "All the Good Things in Estonia" art competition.

"With your child, think about what makes Estonia a good place in which to live. We can enjoy both big and small things – our culture, traditions, nature and family, next of kin and friends – everything is important," says the Head of State.

At the end of 2011, the President invited us to take part in the One Hundred Reasons Why it is Good to Live in Estonia campaign. Together, approximately 1,500 advantages and positive features of Estonia were collected to celebrate the anniversary of the Republic. This year, children will get a chance to show what they like about our home country. "In ten to fifteen years, the children of today will be shaping our country. I am extremely interested in learning about their perspective on Estonia," President Ilves added.
