President of the Republic appointed Urve Tiidus to the position of Minister of Culture

The President, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, signed a resolution today in Kadriorg, at the proposal of Prime Minister Andrus Ansip, to change the composition of the Government of the Republic.
The Head of State released Rein Lang from the office of Minister of Culture and appointed Urve Tiidus, currently a member of the Riigikogu, to the office as the new Minister of Culture.
The signing of the resolution was followed by a meeting between President Ilves, the Head of the Government and the new Minister of Culture.
