President Toomas Hendrik Ilves started his state visit to Georgia

This morning, President Ilves and Mrs. Evelin Ilves started a three-day state visit to Georgia.

During the visit, the Estonian Head of State will meet with the President of Georgia, the Speaker of the Parliament, and the Prime Minister. He will inaugurate the digital stenography system donated to the Georgian Parliament with Estonia’s assistance, speak at an Estonian-Georgian business seminar, visit the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, and several Georgian enterprises.

Mrs. Evelin Ilves will visit the Children’s Theater in Tbilisi, the city’s central hospital, and a local handicraft salon.

The Estonian Head of State will be accompanied by an official delegation that includes members of the Riigikogu, university representatives, diplomats, as well as a 42-member business delegation led by Toomas Luman, President of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
