Evelin Ilves and Gerd Kanter meet children at the Estonian Sports Museum

At the Estonian Sports Museum in Tartu today, Evelin Ilves and Olympic gold medallist Gerd Kanter met children taking part in the 'Get your picture in the Olympic book!' competition.
The special guests spoke to the children about sport and healthy lifestyles and awarded prizes to the winners. 177 entries from all over the country were submitted to the competition, which was organised by the museum. Entries were also received from children in Finland, Latvia and as far afield as Bulgaria.
Evelin Ilves also showed the children the Olympic torch she carried in Dover in the United Kingdom in June this year as part of the Olympic flame's journey to the stadium in London. She has promised to loan the torch to the museum for some time to add to their exhibition.
