President Ilves arrived at the Olympic City

President of the Republic, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, today arrived in London at the invitation of the Estonian Olympic Committee. Over the next few days, he will meet with Estonian Olympic athletes and trainers and take part in the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The Head of State will also pay a visit to a rehabilitation care centre for the military, where six Estonian defence force members who were badly injured in Afghanistan are being currently treated. On Saturday, the President will meet William Hague, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Great Britain.
President Ilves will return to Estonia on Monday.
