Cultural Foundation of the President of the Republic to announce a competition for the Young Scientist Award

Young Estonian scientists who are not older than 35 years, are conducting research at an Estonian or foreign college, university or research institution, and who have already completed their doctorate may apply for an award granted by the Cultural Foundation of the President of the Republic to the tune of 4,800 euro. The Young Scientist Award is sponsored by Väino Kaldoja.

Submitted nominations must comprise of a written application, including personal details and a short curriculum vitae (name, address, education, work relevant to the research in question); a description of the research being conducted; a list of published research work relevant to the research in question; and at least two references from tutors or teachers. Nominations may be submitted by the young scientists themselves or their tutors, professors or employers, as well as by members of the Board of the Cultural Foundation.

The names of candidates must be submitted by 20 November 2012 at the latest (date on postal stamp included).
