President Ilves to be a keynote speaker at a representative round table in Berlin that will discuss Russian policy

The President, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, flew to Berlin today where he will be a keynote speaker at a round table that will focus on Russia's current policy; the event is being organised by the influential Italian think tank Reset-DoC or Reset-Dialogues On Civilisations, which focuses on international relations, and the German Association for Foreign Policy.

"The Political Culture of Today's Russia. The Last 25 Years. Is the Power-State Back?" is also the discussion topic for former Italian Prime Minister and now Judge of the Italian Constitutional Court Giuliano Amato and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel von Schwarzenberg, among others.

The Estonian Head of State will focus on the future of relations between the European Union and Russia.

President Ilves will return to Estonia tomorrow.
