President Ilves: ISIL is our common concern as it also tries to undermine our values and security

"I am deeply shocked by the news of barbarous acts committed by ISIL-affiliated terrorists in Libya against twenty-one Egyptians," wrote President Toomas Hendrik Ilves in his letter of condolence to President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi of Egypt.

"ISIL is our common concern as it also tries to undermine our values and security. The murder of innocent people is a cowardly act that will only make the international community even more determined in its continuous fight against terrorism," assured the Estonian Head of State.

"My thoughts are with the families and friends of the twenty-one victims, and with the people of Egypt," wrote President Ilves.
