Estonian Head of State to give presentation at e-health conference in Sweden

The President, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, will depart for Kiruna, Sweden, tonight to give an opening address tomorrow at an international e-health conference that will bring together several hundred regional level European politicians and entrepreneurs.

At the conference, the Estonian Head of State will speak about the developments of e-health in the European Union and Estonia, using Estonia an example for the other European countries and regions. In 2011-2012, President Ilves chaired an e-health work group that advised the European Commission and completed a report in May 2012.

The conference at Kiruna is being organised by the Assembly of European Regions and Norrbotten county government.
