The President, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, will today participate in the European Health Forum Gastein in Bad Hofgastein, Austria. The Estonian Head of State will introduce the final report of the e-health working group of the European Commission to international representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, shapers of health care and politicians from many countries; the report envisages the opportunities for using the benefits of information technology in patient-focused health care. This was a working group that was chaired by President Ilves at the invitation of the European Commission.
The Estonian Head of State will tomorrow participate in a high-level cyber security conference in Budapest.
President Ilves will return to Estonia on Friday.
