President Ilves participated in a panel "The Transatlantic Relationship in a Multipolar World: Does it Matter?". On 26th March President Toomas Hendrik Ilves participated Brussels Forum - an annual high-level meeting of North American and European political, corporate, and intellectual leaders to address pressing challenges currently facing both sides of the Atlantic.

Together with Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice President of the European Commission; George Voinovich, Member, senior United States Senator from the state of Ohio, and Anne-Marie Slaughter, Director of Policy Planning, U.S. Department of State, President Ilves participated in a panel "The Transatlantic Relationship in a Multipolar World: Does it Matter?". The panel was moderated by David Ignatius, columnist of The Washington Post.
