President Ilves to speak at the British think tank, Chatham House, and meet with Estonian students in Cambridge

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves today travelled to London on a working visit. Tomorrow, he will visit Cambridge University and meet with Estonian students who study there; the day after tomorrow he is due to give a presentation at Chatham House, the internationally influential think tank.

The topic of the presentation of the Estonian Head of State and the discussion to follow is "Building Europe's Digital Economy", with the focus being on the fact that even large countries will be unable to stand alone and fragmented and that the hope for success in a common Europe involves the fifth fundamental freedom of the EU, the cross-border movement of data.

While in London, President Ilves will also give an interview to Christiane Amanpour, one of the most influential journalists and programme hosts on CNN.
