Estonian Head of State expressed condolences to Turkey

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves sent a letter of condolences to the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, following the car bomb explosion in Ankara, which claimed the lives of at least 28 people.

According to the information available from Turkey, the attack was organised by members of a terrorist organisation. "Terrorism is a problem for each and every one of us. Estonia wishes to express its condolences to the next of kin of the deceased and the people of Turkey in general and wishes the injured a speedy recovery," wrote President Ilves.
