President Ilves appoints ambassadors

Estonian president Toomas Hendrik Ilves signed off on his decree today appointing Gert Antsu as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Swiss Confederation, based in Brussels; Simmu Tiik as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Norway, based in Oslo; and Miko Haljas as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Azerbaijan, based in Ankara.

He also appointed Andres Unga as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Indonesia, based in Tallinn; as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Australia, based in Tallinn; and as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Malaysia, based in Tallinn.

The president furthermore recalled Katrin Saarsalu-Layachi, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Swiss Confederation; Arti Hilpus, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Norway; and Andres Rundu, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Australia.
