President Ilves to make first foreign visit of his new term in office to the Republic of Latvia

On the first foreign visit of his new term in office, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves will travel to Riga on 11 October, a day after being sworn into office in the Riigikogu. In Riga, President Ilves will meet with the Latvian Head of State, Andris Bērziņš, and the Head of the Government, Valdis Dombrovskis, to discuss issues related to economic and security policies as well as co-operation in the Baltic Sea region.
