State Visit to Sweden on 18–20 January 2011

The President of the Republic of Estonia Toomas Henrik Ilves will pay a State Visit to Sweden on 18–20 January 2011 at the invitation of His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf. The President will be accompanied by his wife, Mrs Evelin Ilves.

The Estonian official delegation will also include representatives of the government, parliament and business community.

The visit is intended to deepen and intensify the already excellent relations between Sweden and Estonia. The programme will include meetings with Speaker of the Riksdag Per Westerberg, Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and Swedish business leaders. Visits to Enköping and Uppsala are also part of the programme.
