The President, Mr. Toomas Hendrik Ilves, gave a lesson today at Tallinn Secondary Science School, from which his father graduated back in 1941, within the framework of the “Back to School” programme.

The Head of State dedicated the lesson to graduate classes to the 130th birthday of Mr. Johannes Aavik, and he spoke about Estonian language and language innovation. The President also invited the young people to be creative and think of our language every day.

President Ilves reminded the young people about how necessary it is to learn mathematics, physics, and chemistry, as real sciences will help them cope successfully in the future and gain a better insight into the world.
