President Ilves extends condolences to Pakistan

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves has sent a letter of condolence to Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari following the deaths of 152 people in a plane crash in the country.

“I was shocked by the news of the disastrous plane crash in the Margalla Hills in the north of the Islamabad,” wrote the Estonian head of state. “The families and friends of those who lost their lives have my deepest sympathy. Pakistan is in the thoughts of all Estonians.”
