Estonian Head of State, Mr. Toomas Hendrik Ilves sent his letter of condolences to Mr. Dmitri Medvedev, President of the Russian Federation today, regarding the metro explosions in Moscow this morning, where tens of people were killed and many wounded.

„I was deeply shocked by the news of the tragic events that took place in Moscow metro,” President Ilves wrote. “Allow me to express my profound condolences to the families and friends of the victims. Our thoughts are with you and the people of Russia at this difficult time.”
