President Ilves sends his condolences to the King of Belgium, Albert II

"Our thoughts are with the Belgian people at this time of sorrow," President Ilves wrote regarding the train crash in Belgium this morning. Today, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves sent his letter of condolences to the King of Belgium, Albert II regarding the accident in Belgium this morning, when two trains collided near Brussels.

"I am deeply saddened by the news of the devastating accident at Halle. Allow me to express my profound condolences to the families and friends of the victims. I would also like to ask you to convey our sympathy to the injured," President Ilves wrote.

"Our thoughts are with you and the Belgian people at this time of sorrow."
