President Ilves congratulated Latvia on the 91st anniversary of independence

Today, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves sent his letter of congratulations to the Latvian Head of State, Mr. Valdis Zatlers on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of Latvia's independence.

"It is my pleasure to convey to you and to the people of Latvia my sincere congratulations," President Ilves wrote, wishing for the welfare and prosperity of the Republic of Latvia and its people.

President Ilves is confident that Estonia and Latvia will overcome the present difficult times in our economies and we will come out of this crisis stronger than before.
