The President of the Republic commemorated deportation victims in Pilistvere

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves placed a memorial rock and wreath at the Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Pilistvere to commemorate all the victims of the March Deportation of 1949.

Tomorrow the Head of State will give an address at the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the March Deportation at the Occupations Museum in Tallinn.
