The President of the Republic sent condolences the German Head of State

“I am shocked and express my profound sympathy to the German people,” President Toomas Hendrik Ilves wrote today in his message of condolence to Federal President Horst Köhler of Germany in connection with the school shooting in Winnenden, southern Germany.

“The thoughts of the Estonian people are with you. Please convey my sincere sympathy to the families and friends of the victims.”
