President Ilves is on a working visit to Germany

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves traveled on a working visit to Munich, Germany today, where he is participating in the 45th Munich Security Policy Conference.

European security and the future of NATO are the main topics discussed at the conference, which is being attended by world leaders and the heads of international organizations (NATO, European Parliament, OSCE, etc.).

President Ilves will participate in the panel discussion on the main day of the conference. The topic for the day is “NATO, Russia, Natural Gas and the Middle East: The Future of European Security.”

The Head of State will return to Estonia on Sunday night.
