The President of the Republic promulgated eight laws

Today in Kadriorg, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves signed a resolution promulgating the following laws:

- the law ratifying the Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Officials in International Business Transactions, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 21 January 2009;

- the law repealing § 751 of the European Parliament Election Act and amending the Pensions Act for the 12th Supreme Council of the Republic of Estonia and the 7th, 8th and 9th Riigikogu, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 22 January 2009;

- the law ratifying the 2006 amendments to the Constitution and Convention of the International Telecommunications Union, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 28 January 2009;

- the law amending the Investment Funds Act, Securities Market Act, Commercial Code and Estonian Central Register of Securities Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 28 January 2009;

- the law amending the Employment Service and Subsidies Act and laws related thereto, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 28 January 2009;

- the law amending the Organic Farming Act and State Fees Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 28 January 2009;

- the law supplementing the Sustainable Development Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 28 January 2009;

- the law amending the Chemicals Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 29 January 2009.
