The President of the Republic promulgated five laws

Today in Kadriorg, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves signed a resolution promulgating the following laws:

- the law amending the Taxation Act, Commercial Code and other laws related thereto, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 11 December 2008;

- the Machinery Safety Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 10 December 2008;

- the 2009 State Budget Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 10 December 2008;

- the law amending the Public Transport Act and other laws related thereto, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 18 December 2008;

- the law amending the Government of the Republic Act related to the merger of the Environmental Authority of the Ministry of the Environment, the State Nature Conservation Center and the Radiation Center into the Environmental Board and other laws related thereto, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 18 December 2008.
