The President of the Republic promulgated 13 laws

Last week in Kadriorg, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves signed a resolution promulgating the following laws:

- the law amending the Bar Association Act and the laws related thereto, which was passed by the Riigikogu 3 December 2008;

- the law amending the Water Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu 3 December 2008;

- the law amending the Taxation Act and the laws related thereto, which was passed by the Riigikogu 4 December 2008;

- the law amending the Value Added Tax Act and the Income Tax Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu 4 December 2008;

- the law amending the Digital Signatures Act and the Administrative Procedure Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu 4 December 2008;

- the law amending the Victim Support Act and the laws related thereto, which was passed by the Riigikogu 9 December 2008;

- the law amending the Peacetime National Defence Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu 10 December 2008;

- the law amending the Defence Forces Service Act and Health Care Services Organization, which was passed by the Riigikogu 10 December 2008;

- the law amending the Defence Forces Service Act, Health Insurance Act, and Social Tax Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu 10 December 2008;

- the law amending the Forest Act and the laws related thereto, which was passed by the Riigikogu 10 December 2008;

- the law ratifying the Treaty on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Bulgaria, which was passed by the Riigikogu 10 December 2008;

- the law ratifying the amendment of the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Materials, which was passed by the Riigikogu 10 December 2008;

- the Equality of Treatment Act, which was passed by the Riigikogu 11 December 2008.
