President Ilves is on a working visit to France

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves traveled to Evian, France on a working visit, where he will participate at the international World Policy Conference at the invitation of the French Institute of International Relations.

At the conference, where international organizations (NATO, European Parliament, WTO, and others) and government leaders from around the world will participate, the main issues under discussion will be global developments in economics and politics, the power relations of various regions, and the impact and future of international organizations.

President Ilves will be the main speaker at tomorrow’s lunch session. The Head of State will arrive back in Estonia late on Tuesday evening.
