''You have accomplished a great deed,'' President Toomas Hendrik Ilves said to the people of Kuusalu Rural Municipality and tens of volunteers at the reopening of the Kolgaküla Community Hall, which was destroyed by fire two years ago and has now been restored.

''This is the best example of civic society, where people have taken responsibility for their community and re-erected their own community hall with the help of volunteers,'' the Head of State said. ''You have set an example for many people, by showing them how Estonians can come together and agree that they will accomplish something beautiful.''
