The President of the Republic promulgated three laws

Yesterday in Kadriorg, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves signed three resolutions promulgating the following laws:

- the law amending the Transplantation of Organs and Tissues Act, the Artificial Insemination and Embryo Protection Act and other laws related to them, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 4 June 2008;

- the law implementing European Parliament and Council regulation (EC) no. 1082/2006 on a European grouping of territorial cooperation (EGTC), which was passed by the Riigikogu on 5 June 2008;

- The law ratifying the treaty between the Government of the Republic and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania regarding taking the USSR insurance period into account, which was passed by the Riigikogu on 4 June 2008.
