The Angolan Ambassador to Estonia presented his credentials to the President of the Republic

24.03.2008

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves met with Angolan Ambassador Domingos Culolo, who presented his credentials to the Head of State last week in Kadriorg.

According to the Estonian Head of State, the rapid development of Estonian society has created excellent preconditions for cooperation related to economics, trade, and technology with African countries. “Our nonprofit organizations are increasingly prepared to broker various state- and democracy-building projects, including IT solutions,” President Ilves noted.

At the meeting, the President affirmed that Estonia is following developments in Angola with great interest and welcomes the efforts and political will of the Angolan government to organize the first general elections since 1992 in September of this year.

Ambassador Culolo resides in Stockholm.
