The President of the Republic promulgated seven laws

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves signed resolutions promulgating the following laws, which were passed by the Riigikogu on 21 and 22 November 2007:

• the law amending the Commercial Code and laws related thereto;

• the law amending the laws related to the notaries’ information system and legal registers;

• the law amending the Weapons Act, the Planning Act and the Rescue Act;

• the law amending the Rescue Act;

• the law ratifying the Convention on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Tax Concealment between the Republic of Estonia and Georgia and the protocol pertaining thereto;

• the law amending the ratification act for the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs and the other laws based thereon;

• the law amending the Government of the Republic Act and other laws resulting from the merger of governmental authorities.
