Today at 5 pm (UK time), President Ilves will be the guest editor on the BBC radio program Europe Today

23.08.2007

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves will be the guest editor on the BBC World Service radio program Europe Today. The live broadcast will go on the air at 5 pm UK time.

As the guest editor, the Estonian Head of State chose two topics for the broadcast:
• The impact of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact on Europe and the three Baltic countries;
• The risk of cyberwar that has accompanied the development of information technology: Europe requires legislation in this field.

Norman Davies, history professor at Oxford University, has been invited to comment on the first topic, and new media expert Bill Thompson will speak on the topic of cyberwar.
