President Ilves: Today’s graduates are Estonia’s best-educated generation

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, who received the best secondary and vocational school graduates from Estonia in Kadriorg on Wednesday, called upon the young people to demonstrate that they are the best-educated generation in Estonia.

“You are the luckiest generation, you are the best-educated generation, because you are among those who have had the good fortune to live their entire lives and receive their education in a democratic Estonia,” President Ilves noted in his address.

The Head of State emphasized that this also places greater responsibility on today’s young people.

“I sincerely hope that you will take advantage of what you have achieved to date. Go and demonstrate to the world that you truly are the best-educated generation,” said President Ilves.
