President Ilves of Estonia met with Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands

On Friday in Hague, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves met with Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.

During the one-on-one meeting that lasted almost an hour, Estonian-Dutch relations were discussed as well as the future of Europe.

Queen Beatrix expressed her interest in the development of Estonia, about which President Ilves provided a thorough overview.

Queen Beatrix’s visit to Estonia, which is planned for May 2008, was also discussed.
