Yesterday, at the Office of the President of Estonia a portrait of President Lennart Meri was unveiled, which was painted by artist Jüri Arrak, as requested by Lennart Meri’s family. Upon officially unveiling the painting, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves said that Arrak has captured the statesmanlike quality of President Meri very well in the painting. “I am very happy that Lennart Meri is back in Kadriorg,” added President Ilves.
