The Estonian Head of State sent regards to France’s new President, Nicolas Sarkozy

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves sent his congratulations today to Nicolas Sarkozy, the newly elected President of France and also expressed his conviction that relations between Estonia and France will become even more productive in the future.

President Ilves hopes to meet President Sarkozy personally soon, in order to discuss relations between the two countries and cooperation in the European Union and NATO, as the most important associations for both countries.
