President of the Republic appointed commanders for the General Staff of the Defence Forces and the Air Force

Yesterday, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves signed resolutions which appointed Colonel Neeme Väli as Commander of the General Staff of the Defence Forces and Colonel Valeri Saar as Commander of the Air Force. The Head of State also released Brigade General Alar Laneman from his position at the General Staff of the Defence Forces.
