Heli Suvi will become the Counsellor on Domestic Policy to the President of the Republic

On Monday, November 20, Heli Suvi who has until now worked as the Head of the Services Competence Centre of the University of Tartu Pärnu College will become Counsellor on Domestic Policy to President Toomas Hendrik Ilves.

According to the job description Counsellor on Domestic Policy to the President of the Republic provides information on domestic policy to the President of the Republic, serves the President of the Republic by helping him to perform his duties in the field of domestic policy described by the Constitution and mediates the President's contacts in the field of domestic policy.

Suvi holds a master's degree in public relations and information management from the University of Tartu. In the years 2005-2006 Heli Suvi worked as the Development Manager of the Estonian Reform Party's Järvamaa regional organisation, and in 2005 as the Mayor of Paide. Since 2002 she has been a Lecturer of Central Estonian Development Centre.
