The President of the Republic promulgated two acts

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves today at Kadriorg signed a resolution to promulgate the Probation Supervision Act, Imprisonment Act, Penal Code, Penal Code Implementation Act and Code of Criminal Procedure Act Amendment Act, passed by the Riigikogu on September 27, 2006, and the Basic Schools and Upper Secondary Schools Act, Private Schools Act and Pre-school Child Care Institutions Act Amendment Act, passed by the Riigikogu on September 28, 2006.
