Aaro Mõttus will become Legal Counsellor to the President of the Republic

Aaro Mõttus, head of the Economic and Social Information Department of the Chancellery of the Riigikogu, will soon become Legal Counsellor to the President of the Republic.

Mõttus (34), LLM, has graduated from the Faculty of Law at Tartu University. Mõttus has occupied various posts in the Chancellery of the Riigikogu, the State Chancellery, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs since 1993.

Legal Counsellor provides advice to the President of the Republic in legal matters related to the fulfilment of his tasks.
