The President of the Republic appointed an ambassador

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves today, on October 13, at Kadriorg signed a resolution to appoint Sulev Kannike Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Estonia to the Council of Europe, residing in Strasbourg.

The President of the Republic recalled Alar Streimann, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Estonia to the Council of Europe.
