The President of the Republic met with the Prime Minister

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Prime Minister Andrus Ansip discussed internal policy issues at a working lunch at Kadriorg today. It was agreed that the tradition of working lunches of the President and the Prime Minister will be continued.

In the course of the meeting issues that have been in the focus of public discussions in recent weeks were also touched upon, among other things further handling of the matters associated with the tanker Probo Koala and the problems that had occurred in the work of the Land Board and had caused the change of the Minister for the Environment.

The President also informed the Prime Minister briefly about the people who have already begun or will soon begin to work in the Office of the President.
